Happy Birthday Garrett!!

The reason I went to Utah was to stay with my brother's kids while they went on a cruise. During that time was my nephew Garrett's birthday. And being the awesome aunts that we are, Katie and I threw him a nice party. What 14 year old young man, does not want to celebrate with his aunts and young cousins? Let me put it this way, we went to the dollar store to but his gifts and oh man did we have fun!!!

What snow??

I just wanted to let you see what was going on in Wyoming while we were in Utah and the "warm" weather!

Blog Help

Ok blogging experts, I need some help. I am trying to help my sis-in-law set up a blog for their new school. She wants to set up a link on the side bar that the kids can click on that will take them to the info on driver's ed. How do I do that? I know that there is a gadget called "links", but that just adds a website-right? She doesn't want it as a post cause she wants it to always be available to see. Help!!

I can't really say baby-sitting them cause they are all grown up. Anyway, I probably won't be blogging until we get back to Wyoming. I just wanted you all to know where I dissapeared to. Love ya!!

Squidward?

Riley came up to me the other night with this pear and said, "look mom, squidward"! Of course it looks nothing like squidward, but it was hysterical! And sadly yes, my kids watch spongebob.

While the cat is away...

These are random pictures that I found on my camera when I went to upload them.

Holy nostalgia Batman!!

Hailey had been bugging me to let her spend her Christmas money. So, Wes and I took the kids to the dollar store the other night (fun family time indeed!). While Hailey was trying to decide which toy she wanted, Riley was more intrigued by the quarter machines. I gave him a couple of his quarters and one of his treasures was this puzzle ball. I was immediately transplanted back to about 1995 and at a drill competition. Jenny, you should understand this!! For some stupid, yet, pleasurable reason, these puzzle balls kept us entertained for many an hour at competetions between routines. I mean, what else is there to do besides scope out boys, the competition and sleep. So, we had puzzle balls. Oh, the memories...
